All-4-Free Freebie Tree
Online for more than 3 years now, the All-4-Free Freebie Tree is one of the largest and most popular free stuff resources that can be found online. The site is updated by the Para-Noir team daily, and currently generates in excess of 500,000 pageviews/month; consistently finding its way into PCDataOnline's listing of the top 10,000 websites. Incorporating a variety of CGI scripts into its design, the site encourages return visitors through its interactivity, its clear and straightforward design and its content, which appeals to a number of broad demographic groups. Acquired by iOnline Pty Ltd, June 2000. |

ALL-4-FREE fonts
This marks our first move into the content distribution biz. ALL-4-FREE fonts presents an archive of freeware fonts and dingbats to the webmaster and desktop publishing community. The design here was kept simple, yet brightly colored. This maintains quick load times, while appealing to the site's design-oriented audience. Acquired by iOnline Pty Ltd, June 2000. |

Bio Magnetic Therapy
Para-Noir Productions was approached with the task of designing and implementing a secure shopping cart system for this site, complete with currency conversion features and multiple shipping options. We based the final cart upon a heavily-modified freeware script, and integrated its design into that of the existing site. Later, we were commissioned to completely redesign the site from the ground-up, which we carried out with gusto. This resulted in a more natural integration of the shopping cart with the content present on the site. |
|
Cheat Chaser

Film-Makers.com
Frustrated by the lack of serious film-related online directories, Joshua Smith created Film-Makers.com as a service for film students, filmmakers and avid movie buffs. The site will also, within the next month, begin streaming independently-produced video content in real-time. |

Completely computer generated, Lake of Fire showcases Para-Noir's 3D animation skills. All models (with the exception of the 'mothership' and the two spacecraft involved in the fly-by bombing) were created, surfaced and textured by Joshua Smith. The animation and (shallow) story are also the original product of Joshua Smith. As you might imagine, simple flying logos and rotating 3D objects pose no problems for us at all! |
This 5-minute clip is an extract from a feature film production that Para-Noir has had on the boiler for some time. It stars Peter Kent, from Space, Above and Beyond and Flipper (TV series), and international model Maya McGrath. All prothetic effects, cinematography, writing, direction, production and editing are a product of Para-Noir Productions. |
